While each Ammo Mod deals a specific type of damage, there’s also a chance for the bullet to trigger a special effect.

| Dead Wire | This causes bullets to deal electrical damage. It can also stun a Normal or Special enemy, creating a field that deals electric damage to nearby enemies. | Unlocked by default |
| Napalm Burst | This mod inflicts fire damage, with the bullet also having the ability to set a Normal or Special enemy on fire, causing damage over time. | Level 6 |
| Cyro Freeze | This mod deals frost damage, and there’s a chance for it to slow the movement of Normal or Special enemies. | Level 14 |
| Brain Rot | This allows the ammo to deal a decent amount of toxic damage. There’s also a chance for the bullet to turn the enemies into allies. | Level 27 |
| Shadow Rift | This causes bullets to deal shadow damage, with a chance to create a black hole upon hitting a Normal or Special enemy. The black hole pulls in nearby enemies and drops them from the air at high speed. | Level 44 |
