Sell them all, except for the ones with a Yellow Icon. Those are used for monster research and will result in experience and a combat bonus if you turn in enough of a certain research item.
You can turn these in Haven at the table next to Josephine, or when in Skyhold, go to where Solas is and go up the stairs there. The table is on the second floor.

STORAGE SPACE:

Crafting materials and herbs don't take up space. Once you reach Skyhold, you can access the storage chest in the Underforge. It holds up to 500 items.

In Dragon Age: Inquisition, the item storage box can be found in Skyhold, the main hub area of the game. To access the item storage box, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Undercroft in Skyhold: The Undercroft is located in the lower level of Skyhold, near the blacksmith and the quartermaster.
2. Once in the Undercroft, look for the item storage chest: The item storage chest is a large chest located near the crafting tables in the Undercroft. It allows you to store items that you do not want to carry with you in your inventory.
3. Interact with the item storage chest to access your storage: When you interact with the item storage chest, you will be able to deposit and withdraw items from your storage. This can help you manage your inventory more effectively and store items that you do not need to carry with you at all times.

If you have been in Skyhold long enough to unlock the Western Approach and have checked the Undercroft but still cannot find the item storage chest, make sure you have progressed enough in the main story to unlock this feature. It's possible that the item storage chest becomes available at a later point in the game.

The Wardrobe, introduced with Patch 10, allows the player to customize their Inquisitor's default clothing as well as Halamshiral finery. It is located in the Inquisitor's private quarters in Skyhold.

Companions in Dragon Age: Origins are characters that you can recruit to join your party. In total, there are 10 possible companions in the game, but you can take only 3 of them at once and change them anytime you want.
